The Truth About Abigail Series
An unforgettable girl. A small town still searching for answers.
When fifteen-year-old Abigail Olsen vanished from Mannon, Colorado—a small ranch town in the backyard of Mesa Verde—lives were changed forever. Accusations were cast far and wide, the rumors flowing faster than the Mannon River after a spring melt. Family’s were split in half as cleanly as an axe through firewood. Reputations were permanently splintered.
It didn’t matter that no body was ever found, or that the sheriff’s office considered Abigail a runaway, the damage was done and not even time— nearly two decades—has repaired it.
The stories in this series are told by different characters— all connected to Abigail in some way.
In The Girl in the Photos, Tatum Jarvis finds a suggestive photo of Abigail in her father’s closet and starts asking questions that lead her down a path she’s been avoiding since her mother’s suspicious death.
In The Suspect List, Kalico Crane cares for JB Carlaw, a dementia patient, and the patriarch of a prominent ranch family. When Kalico meets JB’s grandson Zane, a local journalist, they veer into dangerous territory together, discovering a clue that incriminates members of the Carlaw clan, and forces Zane to make a decision that will effect everyone in his family.
This is an ongoing series with several more stories partially written or in the planning stage. I look forward to sharing them all here!
